Al Rayyan Stadium (Ahmad bin Ali) is situated in a famous city of Qatar, Al Rayyan & it is located near Qatar’s desert. The arena is also well-known due to its well-developed structure and sustainability. 

The ground was officially inaugurated on 18 December 2020 with a final match of the Amir Cup. This well-designed Stadium will host some of the 2023 FIFA World Cup matches. In the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, four matches were played in Al Rayyan. The arena will be expected to host several matches of the FIFA World Cup 2023.

Fans can conveniently get to the Stadium by cab, car, Careem, Uber, etc. People can also reach the Stadium by using the metro bus service.

Architect, Construction & Renovation:

As far as its design is concerned, Pattern Design signed the project of Al Rayyan Stadium Architect. It has a dune-shaped structure & design that genuinely depicts the Islamic and Qatari cultures. The upper membrane of the building also indicates confederation & strength. The structure of the building is an indication of Qatar’s heritage. 

In 2016, renovation of the ground finally began while Larsen & Toubro, in collaboration with Al-Balagh, started working as the contractor of the renowned ground. According to the high authorities, the arena will be reconstructed soon. Some ground portions will be donated to developing countries that need assistance in their sports club infrastructure.
